Completely off topic but I am so very ashamed of my birth-state at the moment that I feel compelled to voice it. I in no way wish anyone ill, especially now as our country struggles through this economic climate but confronted as we are with this outright baldfaced racist legislation that was signed into law today by Arizona’s Governor, I just have to wish that no thinking person would consider venturing into or support in anyway the actions that will ultimately harm more people than it will serve. Way to go Arizonians!

LOS ANGELES, CA – Dance Camera West (DCW), recognized internationally for its month-long presentation and celebration of dance on screen, announces its Ninth Annual Dance Media Film Festival screening at venues throughout Southern California in June 4- 27, 2010.
A new group has begun on Vodpod, “I dream of dancing on the edge”, for dance enthusiasts – that would be moi, and thus far holds about a dozen videos collected. I never made it past this one!

On Friday, April 9th, 2010 members of HipSwitch and the performing class of Truckee Meadows Community College presented at the University of Nevada, Reno’s “Night of All Nations [NOAN] Festival. The class is taught by our Asha’s own Minya bint Tahari and Kendesh.
It was so much fun to watch! Video capture was recorded by our very own Super Supporter MJ.

Controlled Burn, Reno’s own weavers and spinners of fire will hosting a super event in April to raise funds for member insurance. Ten dolla will get you all you can eat spaghetti dinner, henna and face painting, Poi spinning classes, a raffle, a Wii Tournament {?}, a performance, and a Tricycle race!
It being April is also an excuse to throw in a best bunny costume pageant. Prizes will be given to the best female, male, and green created {recycled} bunny togs.
CB’s performance will be between 8:30 – 9:30 pm, and you shouldna miss it!
